Graduation Celebration!

We were so excited that graduation was finally here that we took a quick vacation to Southern Utah. We seriously considered going back to Maui but I just couldn't leave my little one for a week (yet). Instead we opted for a weekend trip to Zion National Park with our friends G & K. The weather was perfect and we had a great trip! Here's a recap and a few pictures of our weekend away...

On Saturday morning Eric & G went and played a game of golf. If any of you happened to be driving in St George that morning and your car was nailed by a golf ball, I can point you to the culprit(s). Apparently, both of the boys really overshot one hole. One right after the other. Nice. When they got back to the bed & breakfast we were staying at, we headed for lunch at In & Out. Following lunch we headed to Zion's for a scenic drive and some hiking.

On Sunday we did some more hiking and pretty much spent the day in the park. G made a new friend. That evening we took a swim, played scrabble, and watched movies. It was a relaxing trip and it was so nice not to have Eric stressing about coming home and catching up on homework! This new life is going to take some getting used to. Somehow I think we'll manage.
