A Little Therapy Goes a Long Ways

This year for Valentine's Day we did something new. We spent Friday and Saturday at a Marriage Retreat held at BYU's Aspen Grove. It was a really great experience. (Even though some of our friends, who shall remain nameless, suggested that it was marriage therapy in disguise.) It was a good opportunity to take a little time to inventory our relationship and enjoy time without children (or TV!). During the retreat we attended a series of lectures on how to strengthen our marriage. We also played games and spent time visiting with Eric's parents and sister, JaNae, and her husband, Darin.

It snowed quite a bit while we were there and the setting couldn't have been more serene. Just what you need when you are analyzing any relationship :) The food was delicious and the classes insightful. After all our introspection we have decided that we are (still) deliriously happy together.
